Elle: Thanks Queen Tessa, it’s great to meet you. I’m a big fan. Hmmmmm….about talking to my lion. The first time he spoke to me I thought I was going crazy, like seriously out of my mind. But once I realized it was real and Hunter could hear him too…then it felt like being wrapped in a warm, fuzzy, loving embrace. He’s love personified and without him I’d be an empty shell of who I am today. He gives my life purpose. In moments when I want to give up or feel scared, he is there to encourage me, protect me, and remind me I am not alone. Pretty amazing.
Queen Tessa: Wow, we all could use some of that….and call me Tessa. We’re all girlfriends here. So, what’s the scoop with Hunter? What’s he really like?
Elle: (blushing) Okay….Tessa...he’s adorable. He’s also honest, kind and the bravest guy I’ve ever met. We just finished a trip for our king and he saved my life more than once. He’s my best friend.
Queen Tessa: I know what you mean, I feel the same way about my Kupua. Can you tell us more about this river of truth? Why would anyone want to drink it?
Elle: Truth isn’t something to be afraid of, although not everyone wants to face or accept the truth about themselves. Many people spend their lives hiding from the truth. I know I did for a long time. But, if you’re willing, the truth will set you free.
Lies are always destructive and I hope everyone paying attention to this interview knows that any horrible things you believe about yourself are a lie. To know who you are, what you were created to do….it’s so liberating. I talked to Red after he had taken a sip of the truth and he shared that he had been afraid he was a coward, but that was a lie. He learned what was real about himself. Red has a heart of courage and compassion for others.
Queen Tessa: Thank you Elle, such powerful words and I so agree with you. Last question, what’s next for you and Hunter?
Elle: I’m so glad you asked! Hunter, Red, Reece and I are all headed to the West Coast on a mission for our king. We’re tracking a group of V.S. (Virus Survivors) in hopes of saving their next victims and establishing a new sanctuary for King Elohim. There is so much work to do and we can’t wait to get started.
Queen Tessa: Thanks for stopping by to chat before you start the next adventure! For all you fans out there you can read more about Elle, Hunter and the gang by picking up When My Lion Calls! Now it’s time for me to get back to Moku-Ola. Aloha Everyone!
